AUA Turpanjian Rural Development Program is hiring a Program Assistant in Ijevan, Tavush.

Please note that this position is a replacement for maternity leave.

Responsibilities

1. Assists the Turpanjian Rural Development Program Leader with;

• • the overall management of the field office in Ijevan;
  • making/maintaining contacts with local government leaders and other stakeholders as well as with financial institutions;
  • managing and monitoring of the Program objectives;
  • organizing educational and training activities.

2. Works with the targeted beneficiaries;

3. Follows up with loan failures dealing with delayed payments;

4. Monitors cases of problematic loans to collect payments;

5. Performs other monitoring tasks related to the beneficiaries;

6. Oversees the training assistants by managing and distributing their workload.

7. Provides other assistance and administrative/logistical support to the Turpanjian Rural Development Program Leader.

8. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Requirements

• University degree in appropriate area such as business or public policy;
• Fluency in English and Armenian
• Good computer skills (MS Office: MS Word and Excel, databases).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Relevant work experience of 1 year and more preferred.
