The American University of Armenia (AUA) Akian College of Science and Engineering is seeking applicants for a faculty position in Computer Science. Hires will be made at the Lecturer level. Hired faculty will teach, mentor students, and if interested, conduct research in collaboration with colleagues locally and globally. Teaching is expected to be primarily in the Bachelors programs in Computer Science and Data Science (cse.aua.am), including courses in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics or related fields. All instruction is in English.

Responsibilities

Teaching courses in topics such as those listed below.  Active participation in the AUA faculty community.  Advising, mentoring, and teaching students (including teaching in a traditional classroom and/or online environment and student supervision or mentoring experience).  Developing teaching plans, designing, and preparing content for computer science/data/engineering sciences subjects including:
