Description
The Engineering Research Centre (ERC) at the American University of Armenia is searching for candidates* to develop a collaborative MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship application within the European Commission’s Horizon Europe program, with start in summer 2026 in case of successful evaluation. Applicants may not have resided, worked, or studied in Armenia for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to the call deadline (10 September 2025). Responsibilities
The selected candidate(s) will, together with a researcher and mentor from the ERC research center, develop a project proposal, which will be jointly submitted, with the American University of Armenia as the host organization. For this call, we are open for any topic that falls within the following engineering research areas, but in addition to the applicant’s merits we will prioritize according to closeness of fit with the research interests of the senior scientist mentors.

*Those who, on the date of the call deadline 10 September 2025, are in possession of a doctoral degree or have successfully defended a doctoral thesis and have a maximum of 8 years fulltime equivalent experience in research, measured from the date of award of the doctoral degree.
