Description

The CBE is hiring Teaching Assistants for the following courses offered during Fall 2025 semester.

1. BUS 177 Business Communications (2 positions for 4 sections),  Course Code:  BUS 177
2. BUS 280 Operations Management  (2 positions for 4 sections),  Course Code:  BUS 280
3. BUS 247 Intermediate Managerial Accounting and BUS 286 Accounting Information Systems (1 position for 2 courses),  Course Code:  BUS 247 & BUS 286
4. BUS 265 International Marketing (1 position for 2 sections),  Course Code:  BUS 265
5. BUS 266 Advertising Management and BUS 271 Tourism and Hospitality (1 position for 2 courses),  Course Code:  BUS 266 & BUS 271
6. BUS 275 Market Research and BUS 276 Integrated Marketing Communication (1 position for 2 courses),  Course Code:  BUS 275 & BUS 276

Responsibilities:

• Assist (or mentor) the students in their project report development.
• Assist in assessing and giving feedback on the project progress reports submitted by the student groups throughout the semester.
• Assist in assessing and giving feedback on the draft project final report to be submitted by the student groups before the end of the semester.
• Assist in organizing the in-class activities and/or exercises throughout the semester. As well as assisting in assessing their outcomes, if needed.
• Perform proctoring during the midterm and final exams.    

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/disciplinary experience; master’s degree preferred (undergraduate students are not eligible);
• Excellent knowledge of the disciplinary content;
• Fluency in English, excellent communication and organizational skills;
• Good computer skills;
• Self-initiative, attentive to detail, with strong ability to multi-task.

Additional Information

This is a part-time position (maximum 20 hours per week) with work hours specific to CBE course schedule.
