Teaching Associates for CSE Courses 

The CSE is hiring Teaching Associates for the following courses that will be offered during Fall 2025 semester:

• CS 100 Calculus 1
• CS 102 Calculus 3
• CS 108 Statistics
• CS 251/340 Machine Learning
• DS 110 Statistics 2
• DS 116 Data Visualization
• DS 270 Business Analytics for Data Science
• CSE 120 Introduction to the World of Programming
• CSE 181 Creativity and Technological Innovation

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the instructor to organize the course, including support for the online component of the course;
• Running problem solving sessions and office hours;
• Assisting the students with homework;
• Organizing study sessions for students;
• Assisting the instructor with scoring;
• Being present (as arranged with the instructor) during the course and facilitating student-instructor dialog;
• Proctoring the exams.         

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional/disciplinary experience; master’s degree preferred (undergraduate students are not eligible);
• Excellent knowledge of the disciplinary content;
• Fluency in English, excellent communication and organizational skills;
• Good computer skills;
• Self-initiative, attentive to detail, with strong ability to multi-task.
