Description

AUA Extension welcomes applications from qualified candidates for teaching TOEFL Exam Preparatory course at AUA Extension.

The course requires committed instructors with experience in student-centered teaching in an open and interactive classroom environment.

Job Duties

• Teach the course following the approved syllabus;
• Develop and share with students the course plan and hold regular class/office hours for student reach;
• Assign homework and practice tests to enhance student learning;
• Provide additional relevant materials that may improve understanding of TOEFL exam requirements;
• Ensure that all quizzes, tests, and other assignments are reviewed and returned to students with appropriate feedback for improvement.
• Develop knowledge related to all aspects of TOEFL iBT including the most recent test format;
• Identify and apply new strategies for teaching TOEFL iBT;
• Monitor and assess student progress;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• University Diploma in a relevant field.
• Excellent command in English Language.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in TOEFL iBT.
