Description
This role combines program-level coordination with a college-level function in coordinating communication and outreach efforts.
Program Coordination (50%) Master of Arts in Human Rights and Social Justice
Office Operations & Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth program operations.
- Manage program communications, including responding to inquiries (email, phone, walk-ins).
- Maintain and regularly update program records, materials, and archives (catalogues, schedules, syllabi).
- Process administrative and operational requests through AUA systems (Intranet, 1C).
- Manage program-related accounting processes (timesheets, invoices, procurement).
- Maintain organized records of meetings and documentation.
- Monitor office organization and supply needs.
- Perform translation and editorial tasks as needed.
Academic Coordination & Student Support
- Track student records, including enrollment, academic progress, and graduation requirements.
- Coordinate course scheduling, classroom bookings, and course logistics.
- Advise students on academic matters and support exchange/study abroad processes.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to faculty.
Event Management & Logistics (Program-Level)
- Organize program-level academic and community events (orientations, lectures, workshops).
- Coordinate logistics, including bookings, technical setup, catering, and communications.
- Process approvals for external guest events.
- Arrange travel and logistics for visiting faculty and speakers.
Student Recruitment
- Plan and schedule recruitment activities for the program per the CHSS recruitment strategy.
- Maintain communication with prospective students, advising them on academic programs and application procedures.
- Draft and disseminate program-related news, updates, and promotional materials, following the CHSS communications strategy.
- Manage and update program websites and social media platforms, following the relevant CHSS strategies and AUA branding guidelines.
- Attend recruitment and admissions meetings and collaborate efforts with the Admissions Office.
Liaison & Coordination
- Act as liaison between the program and AUA departments.
- Maintain relationships with program-level partners and support internships and exchanges.
- Assist in coordinating research and grant-related activities for HRSJ Faculty.
Communication and Outreach Coordination (50%)- College Level
- Coordinate CHSS marketing and outreach efforts in collaboration with AUA Communications.
- Contribute to managing CHSS-wide communication channels (social media, newsletters, website updates).
- Ensure consistency of messaging, tone, and branding across all program-level communications.
- Work closely with program coordinators to align promotional campaigns with CHSS strategy.
- Support the development and refinement of marketing content (captions, newsletters, press materials, visuals).
- Provide guidance and coordination support to program coordinators in planning recruitment activities in line with CHSS priorities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in administration, recruitment, marketing, or coordination (higher education preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Armenian.
- Experience with social media, digital communication tools and WordPress.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools and G Suite.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
