General English Instructor in Yeghegnadzor

Description

AUA Extension welcomes applications from well-qualified candidates for teaching General English course at AUA Extension in Yeghegnadzor.

The course requires a commitment to the open, interactive and student-driven style of instruction. All instruction is in English.

Responsibilities

Teach the course according to the curriculum;
Develop syllabi and course plans for students and hold regular class/office hours as appropriate for the teaching load;
Give homework assignments, grade them and return them to students on a regular basis;
Work with other professors to share their teaching, research, methods for enhancing effectiveness;
Ensure that all quizzes, tests, papers, and final exams are graded and returned to students in a timely manner to provide feedback on their work.
Find, implement, and share new instructional strategies;
Carefully link learning objectives and activities;
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to all students in the class;
Develop materials from different sources based on the students’ needs;
Assess, record and report on the development, progress, attainment, attendance and behavior of students;
Provide guidance and advice to students on educational matters providing information on sources of more expert advice;
Ensure high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching and learning of the subject;
Perform other related duties as assigned.
