Description
AUA is hiring a Administrative Secretary in the Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics (MSCBE).
Responsibilities
- Prepares letters, memos, agenda, reports and other documents as requested by the Dean/Program chairs, and distributes them according to stakeholders as necessary, as well as provides translation and editorial assistance when necessary.
- Coordinates the logistics of course delivery such as faculty materials, faculty travel, classroom bookings, audio-visual equipment reservations, faculty email and server access, and student information, the distribution of calculators, appointments etc., helps in scheduling of classes (primarily for BAB, etc.).
- Arranges and confirms appointments for the Dean/Program Chairs. Assists with new faculty orientation, assists in teaching assistants/associates hiring process Refers students and general callers, answering telephone and walk-in inquiries.
- Monitors and orders office supplies, and processes relevant expense accounts, operates office equipment and maintains an attractive and clean office.
- Supports in organizing meetings, recruitment/marketing events, conferences, and other activities.
- Coordinates and assures the effective administration/organization of exams (including updating and managing CBE exam and Evaluation management spreadsheet) working in cooperation with the Registrar’s office.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor(s).
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree/University Diploma in foreign languages or a relevant field of study
- Excellent oral & written communications skills and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, database management, E-mail
- Fluency in Armenian and English
- Work experience is preferred.
