Description

The American University of Armenia (AUA) Extension is the non-degree arm of the University that plays a key role in the education, growth, and advancement of regional communities by providing essential learning and practice opportunities, particularly with training in English language and topics most essential to each community. Our overarching goal is to ensure that rural communities have access to the knowledge and skills essential to the betterment of local residents. AUA Extension is appropriately resourced in various areas of adult learning, including languages, tourism and hospitality, small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) management and leadership, as well as women’s entrepreneurship, information technologies, and other topics most important for local populations.

Congruent with the above description of the position, the Kapan Regional Coordinator is responsible for coordinating AUA Extension activities in Kapan, working closely with the regional team under the leadership of the Extension Director.
