The American University of Armenia (AUA) invites applications for the C. Judson King Visiting Chair Professorship for the 2026-2027 academic year. We welcome applications from distinguished scholars and academics with expertise in all programmatic areas offered by the University (listed below), with a particular emphasis on candidates specializing in Science and Engineering, Political Science, International Business, Finance, Economics, International Law, Human Rights, Health Sciences, Philosophy, Public Administration, and related disciplines.
The ideal candidate will be a highly accomplished academic with a significant record of teaching, research, and service to the university community. For those applying from institutions of higher education, we seek individuals holding the rank of Associate Professor or higher, with a minimum of ten years of university service. The appointment will be for a minimum duration of one semester, during which the Visiting Chair Professor will be expected to engage in teaching, student mentoring, research capacity-building, and collaborative research initiatives with local faculty members.
It is anticipated that the visit will foster long-term academic collaborations with local faculty, extending beyond the duration of the appointment, and contribute to the ongoing development of the university’s programs and research.
