Position Overview: The American University of Armenia (AUA) invites applications for a full-time position (Assistant or Associate Professor or Lecturer) in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at the Turpanjian College of Health Sciences (TCHS). The program seeks a dynamic nurse educator committed to advancing evidence-based practice, student-centered teaching, and the development of Armenia’s nursing workforce.  Appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate nursing education through classroom, clinical, and skills-lab instruction, curriculum development, and active engagement in program growth.  Physical presence in Yerevan, Armenia during the entire academic year is required. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2027 or shortly thereafter. 

Established in 1995, the mission of the TCHS is to improve population health and health services in Armenia and beyond through interdisciplinary education, transformative research, and development of health professionals to be leaders in public health, nursing, health services research and evaluation, as well as health care delivery and management. The TCHS is actively engaged in an increasingly extensive portfolio of projects in Armenia and the region.  The TCHS collaborates with world renowned Schools of Nursing and Public Health. The BSN program at TCHS was established in 2022 as the first accredited BSN program in Armenia. It is a bridging program intended for nurses who hold a nursing diploma at the college level and seek a higher education degree in nursing.

Full-Time Faculty Position in Applied Mathematics

Department: Zaven and Sonia Akian College of Science and Engineering (ACSE)

Position Overview: The Akian College of Science and Engineering (ACSE) at the American University of Armenia invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Applied Mathematics at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting in July 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and curriculum development in mathematics and quantitative methods across ACSE programs, including Computer Science, Data Science, and Engineering-related disciplines, and will maintain an active research agenda in applied mathematics and related fields. Faculty members at AUA are expected to teach three courses per semester, engage in program development and university service, and pursue high-quality, peer-reviewed research.
